User Agreement

1. Definitions

User: Any individual or entity using the platform.
Seller: A User listing goods for sale.
Buyer: A User purchasing goods.
Content: All materials (text, images, submissions) on the platform.

2.1 Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older. Minors may use the platform only under parental or guardian supervision.

2.2 Accurate Information
You must provide complete and updated registration details.

2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for your credentials and any activity on your account.

3. Platform Use

3.1 Permitted Use
Use of the platform is for personal, non-commercial purposes, unless authorized in writing.

3.2 Prohibited Actions
Do not:

Upload malicious code.
Access restricted areas.
Engage in fraud or abusive behavior.

Violations may result in suspension, legal action under PECA 2016, and other applicable laws.

4. Transactions

4.1 Sales Terms
Listing an item constitutes a binding offer. The seller must have legal ownership. Transactions comply with the Contract Act 1872 (Section 4).

4.2 Payments
All payments must be in PKR via authorized processors. These are subject to PECA 2016 and the Electronic Funds Transfer Act.

4.3 Dispute Resolution
Karnival Pvt will assist in disputes but is not liable. Resolution follows Arbitration Act 1940 (Section 42).

5. User Conduct

5.1 Compliance
Users must follow PECA 2016, Consumer Protection Act 2020, and related laws.
Prohibited conduct includes:

Fraud: False accounts, misrepresentation (PECA 2016, Section 24).
Illegal Goods: Counterfeit or stolen products (Pakistan Penal Code 1860).
Spamming/Phishing: Unsolicited or malicious content (PECA 2016, Section 21).

6. Fees and Taxes

6.1 Service Fees
Fees for listings and transactions will be clearly displayed and are non-refundable.
6.2 Tax Responsibility
Sellers must handle tax obligations under FBR rules or relevant legislation.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

7.1 User Content
Users grant Karnival Pvt a license to use submitted content. Ensure your content does not infringe third-party rights (Copyright Ordinance 1962, Section 58).
7.2 Platform IP
All trademarks, logos, and software are property of Karnival Pvt. Unauthorized use may lead to action under PECA 2016 and the Trade Marks Ordinance 2001.

8. Termination

8.1 User Termination
You may delete your account anytime, but remain liable for past obligations.
8.2 Platform Termination
Karnival Pvt may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or illegal activity, without notice in severe cases (PECA 2016).

9. Limitation of Liability

Karnival Pvt is not liable for:

Business or revenue loss.
Data misuse (PECA 2016, Section 43).
Technical outages or service disruptions.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of courts in [City], per the Civil Procedure Code 1908.

11. Amendments

Karnival Pvt may update this Agreement. Changes will be communicated via email or the platform. Continued use implies acceptance.
